    I would like to state for the record that I had 3 beefy burgers, 1 turkey burger, 2 hot dogs, and possibly blacked out for the field trip to Ample Hills for ice cream heat relief

  4. so this one time we went to a bacon party. 6 of us, 3 slabs of bacon (roughly 9.5 lbs) each slab cured differently (cinnamon and cloves//whiskey and preserved oranges//champagne and roses) we made bacon wrapped dates and a bacon onion tart and I think we were planning on making BLTs and never even got around to them. nick made bourbon cream iced cream with candied bacon in it. although none of that bacon is pictured here, I remember it fondly weekly or bi-weekly (despite the high ratio of bloody mary to food)

  5. this is the cake for my college friend’s baby shower. we worked together after graduating as well. she used to flash me in the conference room when she was standing behind my seated boss. or in restaurants. anywhere really, although never in the courthouse (i think). glad to see she hasn’t changed.
